Alpaca Reickheim

From the new location next to Taverne de Krieckaert in Gellik, near the beautiful forest of the Lieteberg (national park the high Kempen), various activities take place with the alpacas. The specially trained therapy alpacas Ren, Stimpy and Haakon like to go for a walk, meet new people and can even be used for therapy sessions (see menu options). If the desired activity or date is not listed, please contact us for a tailor-made proposal (think: team building, bachelor party, speed dating, etc.).

Valley of the Kikbeekbron

The valley of the Kikbeekbron is a special part of nature in National Park Hoge Kempen. The area is rich in beautiful heathland vegetation and is the habitat of many bird species and grazing fjord ponies. Besides various cycling and walking routes that you can explore, it is also possible to go horseback riding and to cast a fishing line in one of the trout ponds.

The stone waste from the be-MINE in Beringen has created a whole new network of footpaths, mountain bike tracks and adventurous climbing opportunities. During your route you will find information boards everywhere, telling you the stories about the mines and slag heaps in Limburg.

Pietersheim

Enter the Pietersheim estate and travel back in time to the 12th century. Admire the Moated Castle, which has been restored to its former state thanks to years of restoration.
