Are you looking for a vacation for the whole family, including your four-legged friend? At EuroParcs Hoge Kempen in the Belgian Kempen region, your dog is more than welcome! Whether you choose the authentic camping experience on one of our spacious campsites or prefer to stay comfortably in one of our cottages, you’ll have everything you need. While dogs must be kept on a leash within the park itself, they can burn off their energy right next to the park in the adjacent dog-off-leash area. After a lovely walk through the woods, you can relax together, because your dog is welcome in our restaurant and by the recreational pond. Zutendaal is located in the very heart of Belgian Limburg and is the perfect base for outings with your four-legged friend. From our park, you can reach the Lieteberg in no time—one of the gateways to Hoge Kempen National Park. Here, you can enjoy well-marked hiking trails together through pine forests and along heathlands, where your dog can sniff around for hours. Want to let your dog off the leash for a bit? Just a short drive away, at Kattevennen (Genk) and the Mechelse Heide, you’ll find fenced-in dog-off-leash areas where they can run freely and play with other dogs. For a walk with spectacular views, the nearby Terhills nature reserve is highly recommended. After an active day outdoors, settle down at one of the many dog-friendly outdoor cafes in the area, where the water bowl is often already set out for you with a smile!
